Perthshire indie-folk band Dante tease their second album,  with the release of lead track “Beachcomber”.

Dante’s folk tinged melodies sound influenced by Scotland’s national treasure, Frightened Rabbit.  That’s maybe no surprise given that Frightened Rabbit’s Andy Monaghan was in charge of the albums production duties.

“Beachcomber” is perfect as the albums opening track.  The brooding track with its street like beat is the bands most assured track to date and a perfect flag in the ground to announce their return.

The themes explored in the album focus on what the band feel is important in life as they grow older. Singer Seán McLaughlin explains: “It’s about connection, when disconnection seems like an easier option.”

I Wear Your Weight With Mine, out 9th March via Stitch Records.
