New Music: The Chosen Lonely - Never change, forever

The Chosen Lonely Return with New Single Never Change, Forever

Scottish indie rock outfit The Chosen Lonely are back with their latest single, Never Change, Forever, a heartfelt new release that blends soaring guitars, emotional songwriting and the band’s trademark “Indiephoria from the Scottish Highlands”.

Previously championed by The Scotsman, BBC Rapal and Spotify’s Scotify playlist, the Highland band have earned a reputation for crafting infectious indie-pop anthems. Their latest track introduces a punchier edge thanks to new guitarist Mikey Duncan, whose arrival has helped shape an exciting new chapter for the group.

Co-produced by Darren Coghill of Neon Waltz, Never Change, Forever explores the emotions surrounding the end of a loving relationship, balancing reflective lyrics with uplifting indie-rock energy.

Ahead of the single’s release on 21 October, fans can also look forward to a lyric video filmed in Inverness, showcasing some of the city’s most iconic locations.

With echoes of The Cure and the spirit of modern Scottish indie, Never Change, Forever finds The Chosen Lonely sounding more confident and ambitious than ever.
