Discover the Spirit of Highland Music and Culture at Black Isle Calling 2024

Mark your calendars and prepare for a weekend of music, artistry, and community spirit at the inaugural Black Isle Calling festival, happening at the picturesque Black Isle Brewery farm, just outside Inverness on September 13th and 14th, 2024.

A Unique Fusion of Music

In collaboration with Black Isle Brewery, Elephant Sessions and the renowned Ironworks Venue, Black Isle Calling promises an unforgettable lineup that celebrates diverse musical talents. From the iconic Huey Morgan of The Fun Lovin’ Criminals to the electrifying performances of Elephant Sessions themselves, the festival boasts an eclectic mix of artists and DJs. Get ready to groove to the beats of Beluga Lagoon, The Lafontanes, Valtos, and many more. Whether you’re into indie, folk, or electronic vibes, there’s something for everyone at Black Isle Calling.

Along with the main stage, which will be in a big top, there will also be a second stage curated by Upstairs Inverness featuring Household DJs, Dannsa and Hypnotic Groove.

More than Music

Beyond the sensational sounds, Black Isle Calling offers a sensory feast with an array of food vendors including Highland Coffee Pod, Auld Smokey Woodfired Pizza, and the legendary Black Isle Brewery serving up their finest brews. The festival grounds will also host market stalls featuring unique crafts and local treasures, perfect for exploring between sets.

This isn’t just a music festival; it’s a gathering of like-minded spirits who appreciate great music, delicious food, and the stunning Scottish landscape. With limited camping available onsite (which includes Saturday morningyoga!), you can immerse yourself fully in the festival experience, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Black Isle.

A Festival with Heart

Caroline Campbell, Director of the Ironworks Venue, expressed her excitement: “Ironworks is delighted to be involved in this new 2-day event. It’s a continuation of the Elephant Sessions story and a testament to our strong partnership with Black Isle Brewery.”

Euan from Elephant Sessions added, “After the closure of Ironworks, we felt a void in the music scene. Black Isle Calling is our dream come true—a festival that brings together great music, good company, and our favourite brews.”

Lawrie Wotherspoon, representing Black Isle Brewery, shared his anticipation: “We’re thrilled to host Black Isle Calling at our brewery farm. Expect top-tier artists, lively atmosphere, delectable food, and of course, our finest beverages. The bar won’t run dry!”

Whether you’re a local music enthusiast or visiting from afar, Black Isle Calling promises an experience that celebrates the best of Highland culture. Book your tickets, pack your camping gear, and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime. Let’s raise a glass (or two) to music, community, and the spirit of the Black Isle!
