Rising Scottish artists, Fatherson, Be Charlotte, Astrid and Zoe Graham will support iconic Scottish duo, The Proclaimers.

Currently on tour across the UK and Ireland, the legendary Scottish duo will perform in a big top at Bught Park on Saturday July 6 in Inverness with an amazing line up of support acts who are set to turn the event into a mini festival.

The gig, organised by Regular Music and LCC Live is part of the Highland capital’s, Live In The City events.

Support acts include Scottish alt-rock trio, Fatherson who released their third acclaimed LP, Sum Of All Your Parts in 2018. They have spent the past year promoting it across the land plus dates in the USA and across Europe.  Whether Glasgow, Copenhagen, NYC or Inverness most Fatherson gigs feel like a Saturday night.  So, with this gig actually being on a Saturday we are very confident the band and fans lap up every moment. Die hard Proclaimers fans who may not be familiar with the trio are likely to be singing along to songs like I Am Island and Making Waves on their way home.

Dundonian electronica-pop singer-songwriter, Be Charlotte is in every sense a rising star having recently signed a worldwide record deal with Columbia/Sony.  She is a natural performer with a captivating presence and a songbook that is impossible not to dance to.

Zoe Graham is a Glaswegian singer-songwriter who we first met last year at XpoNorth in Inverness where she put on an impressive show as well as an intimate session for Netsounds.  She has the power to hush the big top with her beautiful catchy hooks and powerful melodies. They are songs that will be stuck in your head for days.

Scottish group Astrid, led by Willie Campbell and Charlie Clark made their impressive debut back in 1999.  After initial success and various solo adventures they have reunited in recent years returning with their trademark melodic jangly indie- pop.  The band were also previous members of Scottish supergroup The Reindeer Section (featuring members of Snow Patrol, Teenage Fanclub, Arab Strap and more).

Netsounds have been lucky enough to have filmed sessions with all of the support acts from as far back as 2014 with be Charlotte.  Have a peak at the sessions below and also some newer tracks from the acts.
