Cortnë is a genuine alt-pop singer-songwriter hailing from Glasgow’s Southside who crafts her music with the inspirations drawn from past relationships, the echoes of feminism, and the profound motifs of religious imagery.
Enveloping listeners in dreamy harmonies, punctuated by the sharp tones of airy guitars and the heartbeat of driving drums, it’s no wonder that she’s garnered attention and accolades from the likes of BBC Introducing Scotland, BBC Radio Nan Gàidheal, Amazing Radio, and more.
Having recently had the honor of opening for Irish sensation Oscar Blue on his Scottish tour, Cortnë has already painted a vivid musical landscape across Scotland with her riveting performances in cities across Scotland. Her talent has graced stages at notable events such as Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and Celtic Connections. Furthermore, she’s shared stages with renowned acts including the English duo Medowlark, Lauren Hibberd, and ROE at SWG3’s Poetry Club and The Sisterhood at the legendary King Tut’s.
Cortnë has now unveiled her debut EP, ‘Florescence’ launched at The Glad Cafe in Glasgow on Friday the 13th October.
