Katie Gregson-MacLeod - complex (demo)

Scottish singer-songwriter, Katie Gregson-MacLeod releases viral tune, “complex” and signs deal with Columbia Records.

Not a bad few weeks for Katie. She posts a demo of her new track, complex which blows up on TikTok and is covered by the likes of Tom Walker, Camila Cabelio and Gracie Abrams. And now she has announced she has signed a record deal with Columbia Records, home to Beyoncé, Adele and Harry Styles.

In addition and reacting to public demand, Katie has today (Friday 26th August) officially released the the single complex (demo) on Spotify.

Katie Gregson-MacLeod hails from Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. Since making her festival debut at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2019, the young artist has gained momentum through playing a number of support gigs for artists such as Emme Woods and Moteh Parrot and sell out local shows.

complex (demo) follows the independently released Second Single Bed and 2021’s EP Games I Play.
