Ellyn Oliver in Session at Belladrum Festival 2025
We were delighted to welcome Ellyn Oliver, the North East Scotland-born singer-songwriter, to the Tomatin Bothy at this year’s Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2025 for an exclusive Netsounds live session.
Ellyn’s music blends soulful, folk-rooted songwriting with touches of pop, gospel, and jazz – creating something that feels both familiar and refreshingly original. Her voice carries warmth and emotion, with a unique phrasing and tone that instantly draws listeners in.
In this special session, Ellyn performed two beautifully crafted songs — Seaglass and Dressed in Daylight.
Seaglass captures the ebb and flow of change, inspired by the natural beauty and resilience found along Scotland’s coastline. Its calm rhythm and reflective lyrics shimmer like the song’s namesake.
Dressed in Daylight is a song of renewal and quiet optimism – a reminder to find light and gratitude in everyday moments. With its uplifting melody and heartfelt delivery, it perfectly suited the intimate Bothy setting.
