Triple Headline Magic: FAEDA, Dylan Tierney & Reliever Light Up Inverness
Three top local bands, each capable of headlining a gig playing in one venue on the same night!
FAEDA decided to do a November UK headline tour starting at “Upstairs” Inverness with Dylan Tierney and Reliever as support, couldn’t ask for more!
Dylan Tierney and his band started the night on what was a cramped stage for 6 people but what a perfect start they were, I think everyone there knew and enjoyed every song. I have seen Dylan and his band many times and they always deliver a superb performance and tonight was no different, a perfect start.
Up and coming local band Reliever were up next, I have been watching and supporting these lads since last year and have loved every second of their progression. Reliever played a storming set at Belladrum earlier this year and continued in that vein tonight. Reliever delivered a superb set to a good-sized crowd, lots of good energy and crowd engagement, they do seem to improve with every gig they do, well done lads.
Formerly known as “Forgetting The Future” FAEDA decided to start their headline tour in Inverness before continuing on to Dundee, Glasgow and Liverpool later this month and I am so glad they did as they have released a couple of new songs which I was looking forward to hearing performed live.
FAEDA delivered one of their signature high energy performances to a really appreciative crowd, between the crowd and the band the venue fast became a sweat box which to be fair suits the kind of performance you get from them. They hit us with a few new songs and I think “South Paw” is becoming my favourite new song from the guys. Although this set was as expected with their previous known songs, I did notice a maturity in their new songs and it suits the band really well. What was slightly strange at the end was the band did not expect to have to do an encore and were genuinely not prepared for one, they did of course oblige the noisy sweaty crowd with “one more tune” all in all a great night of live music in Inverness, thanks to all the bands, had a great time.
