Listen to perky new indie pop release from New York based, EX OH…

Ex Oh‘s debut single, released back in August was a lo-fi slow burning melancholic number called ‘Love and War’.  It was a subtle low key introduction to the sound of Ex Oh, the project of Hudson Valley, NY based artist, Jerry Adler.

Things step up a gear with the release of new single, ‘More Of’.  With its driving Mr. Blue Sky-esque keys they have unleashed a wonderful no-nonsense  irresistible perky indie pop tune.  It also ticks the “short is sweet, classic pop” box clocking in at under three minutes.  And Adler achieves all of this without a 60 piece symphonic band.  It’s simple, brilliant, uplifting indie pop. I’ve listened to it so many times on repeat now that I have lost count.

Where ‘Love and War’ was about love gone wrong and abuse, ‘More Of’ is the sound of optimism and the sunshine breaking through, “See the world through new eyes… When you’re down you can try.”  And, maybe the hope of new love, “Someone to hold tight Making it alright.”

‘More Of’ is available on Bandcamp via Team Love Records on Friday 18th September 2020.

Ex Oh’s self-titled debut album will be released via Team Love Records on November 13th 2020.
